In its official release, IMD said, “Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied with isolated thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during next 7 days." It was further noted that heavy isolated rainfall will likely beover Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.

Isolated light to moderate rainfall is likely over Haryana-Chandigarh, Punjab and East Rajasthan from 9th -11th and isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall activity over Uttar Pradesh from 07th-11th May 2024.
East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Jharkhand & Odisha during 06th-09th; over Vidarbha & Chhattisgarh during next 5 days. Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Gangetic West Bengal on the 06th & 07th and over Odisha on the 07th & 08th of May 2024.
