West Bengal Governor and the state government over various issues related to the education sector, Governor CV Ananda Bose has sent two confidential letters-one to Nabanna (the state secretariat) and other to New Delhi on Saturday midnight.
Bose had vowed to «take action at midnight» yesterday, following which the letters were sent last midnight. The Governor told mediapersons on Saturday, «Wait for the stroke of midnight today (Saturday midnight).

«The Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal has signed two confidential letters (sealed) tonight, one to Nabanna and the other to Delhi,» a statement released by Raj Bhawan last night as said by Bose. However, the details of the letter are yet to be known.
In a major verbal duel, West Bengal education minister Bratya Basu has compared CV Ananda Bose with a 'vampire', following Bose's comment on «midnight action».
Reacting sharply to Bose's comments, the State Education Minister took to X and said, «See till midnight, see the action.” BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! New Vampire in the town! Citizens please watch yourselves. Eagerly waiting for the “Rakkhas Prahar”, according to Indian Mythology!.»
This is not the first time that Basu made such comments.
Earlier, Basu had referred the Governor as «James Bond.»
