Narendra Modi's assertion that he would return to the Red Fort for his Independence Day address in 2024. In his address to the nation on Independence Day, PM Modi had claimed that he would return to the Red Fort for his 11th Independence Day speech in 2024.
The survey titled «Parliament to Red Fort» was conducted by Pollsters India between August 15 and 17. It included 10,233 adult respondents from 22 states and Union Territories.
According to the survey results, a majority of respondents—54 per cent—expressed belief in Prime Minister Modi's assertion, while 37 per cent respondents believed that it would be a close contest in the Lok Sabha elections next year In regional context, a majority of respondents from North and West India also believed that Modi would return to power, while respondents from East and South India appeared to be more cautious in their outlook. On no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha, 52 per cent of respondents felt that the BJP-led NDA benefited from the motion, whereas 40 per cent believed that the Congress-led alliance held the upper hand.
