Winter storm Lola to bring blizzard conditions to Plains, Midwest; check which states will be impacted
winter storm Lola is set to bring blizzard conditions across parts of the Plains and Midwest this week. The travel conditions are also going to be affected due to the winter storm. While snow is forecasted to be moderate, the alliance of strong winds with snow may produce whiteout conditions.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued blizzard warnings and winter storm watches in a number of areas due to the probable whiteout conditions the storm can cause.
Current weather alerts
As per a report in The Weather Channel, as of Monday, winter weather alerts were issued from the Rockies to the Central Plains and upper Midwest. Blizzard warnings are in place for northeast Colorado and western Nebraska.

Regions in the Plains and Midwest that have winter storm watches in place at the moment might have warnings upgraded later on Monday.
Travellers have been warned not to travel to blizzard-warnings or winter storm-watch areas because the snow and strong winds would bring near-zero visibility.
