Hezbollah claimed responsibility Tuesday for a drone attack last week targeting the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and acknowledged that some of its fighters have been take captive by the Israeli army. Hezbollah spokesman Mohammed Afif made the remarks during a press conference in Beirut's southern suburbs that was cut short following an Israeli evacuation warning for the area. An Israeli strike hit a target hundreds of metres (yards) away from the site of the conference just minutes after journalists left, an AFP video journalist said.

Sources told ET that the deal size would be around Rs 200 crore. With this acquisition, Manipal HealthMap is set to strengthen its presence in key markets, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka, while expanding its pan-India reach. The acquisition will also complement Manipal HealthMap’s existing portfolio, particularly in specialized testing areas such as oncology, infections, fertility, and more.

Overburden (OB), the by product from mining operations, and process it to produce Manufactured-Sand (M-Sand), which can be used in construction projects. This move will reduce dependency on river sand and preventing environmental degradation, a Coal Ministry statement said. To make this possible, public-sector undertakings (PSUs) have commissioned four OB processing plants and five OB-to-M-sand pilot plants. Additionally, six more OB processing and OB-to-M-sand plants are currently in various stages of installation within the Coal/Lignite PSUs, the statement added. These plans have been listed in a report by a High-Powered Expert Committee (HPEC) of the Coal Ministry. The report has recommended that coal companies can be mandated to practice mining of other minerals present in OB strata or gainful utilization of OB for economic value rather than mining of just coal.

The three (party leaders) are present when discussions concern all the three constituents of the Mahayuti alliance, he added. «As some candidates had to keep up with the „muhurat“ for filing of nominations, they have been allotted our party's A and B forms,» Pawar said. The A and B forms are important documents, which denote that a certain candidate has been approved by a political party and should be allotted the election symbol of that party.

Senior advocate V Giri, appearing for Siddique sought time to file a rejoinder affidavit to the status report but claimed that his client had been cooperating with the police's investigation. Senior advocate Ranjit Kumar, appearing for the Kerala police, said Siddique was hindering the investigation and had destroyed electronic devices besides deleting social media accounts.

The company has been allotted 1000 acres of Land in Watad Industrial Area of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra to develop Dhirubhai Ambani Defence City (DADC). DADC will be the largest Greenfield project in the Defence Sector in India by any Private Sector company, Reliance said in a statement.

Abhishek Gupta allegedly failed to ensure that the funds of the schemes were invested to achieve the objectives of the scheme and by doing so he allegedly violated mutual fund rules. The order came after Gupta filed an application with Sebi proposing to settle the alleged violations «without admitting or denying of the findings of fact and conclusions of law» through a settlement order.
