NASA's Artemis III is set to be a mission in 2026 that will carry a unique payload designed to explore the feasibility of growing plants in the lunar environment. NASA has selected the first scientific instruments for astronauts to deploy on the Moon's surface during Artemis III, including the Lunar Effects on Agricultural Flora (LEAF). LEAF will study how the lunar environment impacts space crops, examining plant photosynthesis, growth, and stress responses under space radiation and partial gravity conditions.

Tony and Ziva NCIS series, which had so far been untitled, now has a title. The official title is NCIS: Tony & Ziva, which was announced recently. The two stars working on the European series announced the title a call on Zoom. The stars had earlier sought suggestions for the title from their fans. The show will feature Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly, among others. The series will have 10 episodes and will follow the journey of Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) across Europe as they struggle to survive, reunite and live together. The filming of this series, which is the second extension of the NCIS franchise beyond the US, will begin in the summer and is expected to release sometime in the second half of 2024. The earlier series, which was shot outside the US, was NCIS: Sydney.

Addressing a reception for 150 guests from Singapore's defence sector, heads of diplomatic missions and Indian diaspora on board INS Shakti at the Changi Naval Base on Tuesday, he said the navies of the two countries are planning to hold the 31st edition of the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX) which will be held at Visakhapatnam in the fourth quarter of this year. «We will be undertaking the 31 Edition of SIMBEX (and) we have done the planning at the working level for the event to be held in the fourth quarter of this year at Visakhapatnam,» Dhankhar who is leading the Indian Naval Ships Delhi, INS Shakti, and Kiltan to Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. «We look forward to further enhancing our operability and understanding of each other's operational philosophy and also increasing the competency of our bilateral exercise in keeping with the times that we are witnessing,» said Dhankhar who in the past had been associated with a two-year training programme for the Singapore Navy.

Anil Gupta, Sr VP & Co-Group Head-Financial Sector Ratings, ICRA, in conversation with ET Now on RBI proposal for tighter project finance rules. Gupta says “given the market reaction, there could be a case where maybe more clarification will emerge as to whether 5% provision requirement is on the entire under-construction portfolio of the lenders or not. Our reading is that it is only for the cases where the project is under construction and has sought a DCCO extension. If that clarification comes, it should not be really negative for the sector because it is only a positive from the balance sheet perspective of the lenders that you are taking care of the risk which has gone up because of DCCO extension. It should not be negative for the credit flow. Seeing the implication of the RBI proposal for tighter project finance rules play out on the likes of an REC and PFC, gives us a sense of the negative implication for such Anil Gupta: Basically, the regulation which has come out is harmonising the guidelines which were there for banks and NBFCs earlier. For example, today if a project defers its DCCO and that deferment is within a period of two years, the standard asset provisioning norm for a bank is 0.4% and for an NBFC it is 0.25%. Now what this circular is saying is that even if there is a deferment of DCCO within a period of two years, because there have been some deterioration in the project fundamentals, the standard asset provisioning should increase to 5%.
