NCIS: Tony & Ziva: See what we know about release date, cast, storyline, filming and more
Tony and Ziva NCIS series, which had so far been untitled, now has a title. The official title is NCIS: Tony & Ziva, which was announced recently. The two stars working on the European series announced the title a call on Zoom. The stars had earlier sought suggestions for the title from their fans. The show will feature Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly, among others.
The series will have 10 episodes and will follow the journey of Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) across Europe as they struggle to survive, reunite and live together. The filming of this series, which is the second extension of the NCIS franchise beyond the US, will begin in the summer and is expected to release sometime in the second half of 2024. The earlier series, which was shot outside the US, was NCIS: Sydney.
Storyline
In the earlier series, Ziva had died. Was she really dead or was it a death that was just shown on records? Oftentimes, in covert operations, one fakes another’s death to achieve strategic objectives.
In this upcoming series, after Ziva’s death, Tony leaves the NCIS team and is now fully devoted to raising their daughter named Tali. However, Tony is surprised when years later he learns about Ziva’s whereabouts in Europe where she is now finishing her final mission. They are finally reunited in Paris. The movie is all about action, romance and the natural beauty of Europe.
