Abhishek Banerjee's wife Rujira Narula Banerjee was quizzed for more than 8.5 hours after she appeared before Enforcement Directorate (ED) today morning in connection with recruitment case probe in the state. This is the first time that Rujira was summoned by ED in connection with the recruitment scam. Rujira Narula Banejee reached the ED office at CGO Complex office at around 11 am in Kolkata and her interrogation continued for more than 8.5 hours and left the ED office at 7.45pm, people in the know said. The Enforcement Directorate had earlier summoned Rujira Narula Banerjee a couple of times in connection with multi-crore coal pilferage case in last two years. Talking about the summon, Trinmool Congress called it «political vendetta».
