Entertainment Instagram 2020 reports Courts Relationships cricket Dhanashree's Mumbai proposal was the real reason for Yuzvendra Chahal divorce: Report
Taking to his Instagram account, he shared that a source has revealed that a key point of contention arose when Dhanashree insisted that Chahal relocate from his hometown in Haryana to Mumbai, the financial capital of India. According to him, the couple, known for their presence in both cricket and entertainment circles, struggled to find common ground due to their starkly different personalities. While they had initially settled in Haryana with Chahal’s parents, they would visit Mumbai only when necessary. However, tensions escalated when Dhanashree firmly demanded a permanent move to Mumbai, a request that reportedly took Chahal by surprise. He added that the leg-spinner, deeply rooted in his family home and environment, found the demand unreasonable. Despite discussions and attempts to reach a middle ground, the disagreement led to heated arguments and an eventual rift. He stated that Chahal remained firm in his decision, unwilling to uproot himself from his parents’ home and the life he had built in Haryana. As per him, ultimately, this ongoing dispute over relocating is said to have played a significant role in the couple’s separation, marking the end of a relationship that had long been in the public eye.

FIVE wellness composer Commentary Relationships cricket bowling To stay relevant, I have to adapt as well: Dhoni
Chennai Super Kings despite handing over captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad, the talismanic Mahendra Singh Dhoni said he is instead focussed on reinventing himself and his strokes to «stay relevant» in the IPL. Speaking to 'JioStar' after CSK's four-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in their lung-opener on Sunday night here, Dhoni spoke about the team dynamics under Gaikwad, his own form and also the regional commentary being done in the ongoing league. "...batsmen are now willing to take risks. They believe that with proper cricketing shots, they can play big strokes, and at the same time, they are improvising with their shot selection...whether it's a reverse scoop against a fast bowler, a sweep, or a reverse sweep against a pacer. «I am no different, I have to adapt as well. This is what is required of me for where I am batting. You have to try and stay relevant,» Dhoni said. «The way we played T20 in 2008 and the way we played IPL last year, it's very different. Earlier, there was a lot of turn in the wickets. Wickets were two-paced. Now, India's wickets have become much better; they are more batter-friendly,» he explained. The 43-year-old, under whom CSK won five IPL titles, handed over the leadership to Gaikwad at the beginning of the 2024 season. He said although he discusses things with Gaikwad, he refrains from persuading him to follow his advice.

Provident FIVE Strategy Death stars reports CSK vs MI Weather and Pitch Report: How will the surface at Chepauk stadium in Chennai play for today's match?
CSK's star player, MS Dhoni, will once again be in the spotlight as he continues his long-standing association with the team since the IPL's inception in 2008. In contrast, Mumbai Indians will miss the services of their star pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, who is still recovering from a back injury. His absence is a significant blow to MI, especially in the death overs, leaving the team to experiment with alternative options and strategies. For CSK, the selection dilemma lies in choosing an opening partner for Ruturaj Gaikwad, with either Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway likely to fill the spot. The middle order will include Rahul Tripathi, Shivam Dube, Hooda, Vijay Shankar, followed by Dhoni and Jadeja. CSK’s recent good record against Mumbai, including four wins in the last five encounters, will boost their confidence.

UPS Career wellness Department bowling Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants aim for strong IPL start under new leadership
Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, under new captains, will be eager to make a strong start to their IPL campaign when they face off here on Monday. For a second year running, the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium will host two home matches for Delhi Capitals. Pant, who had been a Delhi Capitals' player throughout his IPL career and also their captain, left the franchise ahead of the mega auction last year and was snapped up by LSG for a record price of Rs 27 crore. While his pay cheque will keep the Indian wicketkeeper-batter in limelight through the course of this season, it will also present Pant an opportunity to make a strong case for himself in the white-ball formats as he didn't get a game during the recent Champions Trophy. On the other hand, KL Rahul, who led LSG for two years since their IPL debut, has switched to Delhi Capitals, where he would be a vital cog in their plans, not as a leader but as a key batting mainstay, with Indian all-rounder Axar Patel being appointed captain. Like Mumbai Indians, DC too were spoilt for choices when it came to picking their captain as they also have Faf du Plessis apart from Rahul but the franchise opted for all-round Patel, whose career graph has been on a rise.

Strategy wellness stage Equality rights bowling Chennai Weather Forecast: Will rain play spoilsport in today's MI vs CSK IPL clash?
Chennai Super Kings will lean on their formidable spin strength under favourable conditions at the Chepauk as well as recent record against Mumbai Indians when the two sides face each other in their Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign opener here on Sunday. Five-time winners CSK augmented their spin attack in the IPL mega auction last year by including Ravichandran Ashwin, Noor Ahmad Shreyas Gopal and Deepak Hooda, with India veteran Ravindra Jadeja also in the mix. CSK's pre-season moves indicate how the spin-friendly conditions at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here could be a major factor in their game plan. Starting their season against an equally formidable opponent in Mumbai Indians, this strategy could well deliver the goods right from the beginning. For CSK, MS Dhoni will be the cynosure of all eyes once again, having remained with the team since the inception of the IPL in 2008. On the other hand, the absence of India bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah could be acutely felt in the MI ranks as the right-arm pacer remains on a comeback trail from a back-related issue which has kept him sidelined so far this year. Bumrah is expected to miss the initial stages of this IPL and his absence will leave MI without their lethal weapon in the death overs, presenting the management with a headache to work with other options and strategies.

The Titans begin their season on March 25 against Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. With a strong squad and meticulous planning, the franchise is focused on delivering both on-field success and an unmatched fan experience throughout the season. Gujarat Titans entered the IPL as one of two new teams ahead of the 2022 season. Before the auction, they secured Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill, with Pandya appointed as captain. Ashish Nehra took charge as head coach, while Gary Kirsten joined as mentor and batting coach, and Vikram Solanki became the director of cricket. The Titans made an immediate impact, clinching the title in their debut season. They reinforced their credentials in 2023 by reaching the final, only to lose to Chennai Super Kings in a dramatic last-ball finish. Despite a somewhat uncertain auction, where their key signings included Hardik Pandya (who captained the side), David Miller, Rashid Khan, and Mohammad Shami, Gujarat Titans defied expectations. Under Hardik’s leadership, the relatively inexperienced squad transformed into a formidable unit, emerging as a dominant force in their first two seasons.

Dinesh Karthik took over as captain in 2018, guiding KKR to a third-place finish in his debut season. Midway through the 2020 IPL, he stepped down, passing the leadership to Eoin Morgan, who led the team to their third final in 2021. FIVE Career stars reports testing cricket bowling Bond warns Bumrah of "career-ender injury", wants him to not play "more than two Tests in a row"
Jasprit Bumrah had his surgery could be a career-ender and added that in future, he would not like to see him play more than two Test matches in one go, ESPNCricinfo reported. Bumrah has been nursing a lower back injury, which ruled him out of India's famous run to Champions Trophy victory on Sunday. The bowler who has been branded as a «national treasure» by star batter Virat Kohli, fought a lone battle for India during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, taking 32 wickets in five matches, before breaking down in the final Test match at Sydney earlier this year in January, suffering what turned out to be a stress-related injury. He has not played any competitive cricket since then and also missed India's victorious ICC Champions Trophy campaign. Bumrah is completing his rehab at Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru and there is no clarity over his availability for Mumbai Indians (MI) during the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) starting from March 22 onwards. Bumrah has not suffered a back injury for the first time, as he had surgery for it in March 2023. Bond, who worked with MI in the past as a bowling coach and is currently Rajasthan Royals' bowling coach, said that Bumrah's workload needs careful management to avoid another injury. Bond is also notably known for having a back-injury-affected career himself. He played just 120 matches and picked 259 scalps for Kiwis from 2001-10. Like Bumrah, he had his first back surgery at 29. Despite his persistent injuries, Bond played till the age of 34, first retiring from Tests, then from all formats within less than six months.
