Tata Communications' January-March net profit jumps to ₹321.52 crore
NEW DELHI : Tata Communications’ net profit for the quarter ended 31 March surged to ₹321.52 crore, from ₹45.1 crore in the previous quarter, but was down 1.5% from ₹326.42 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Consolidated revenue for the quarter rose 24.6% year-on-year to ₹5,692 crore. Of this, data revenue rose 26.9% to ₹4,656 crore.

Apple enters JV with CleanMax to invest into rooftop solar projects in India

Tarc Ltd, has reported Rs 1,612 crore pre-sales in FY 23-24, a 200% growth from previous year as demand for luxury real estate state continued. The company also achieved its highest annual collection to date, reaching Rs 415 crore. New Delhi: India has begun work on a home-built bullet train that will exceed 250 kilometres per hour (kmph), a top government official told ET. The official said it will be faster than any of the trains now running on the Indian Railways. «It is being built on the Vande Bharat platform that can already clock a maximum speed of 220 kmph,» the official said. The designs are being prepared at the Indian Railways' Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai.

MUMBAI, NEW DELHI : Indus Towers expects Vodafone Idea to clear all its pending dues in one go, the top executive of the tower provider said on Tuesday, a day after the country's third-largest telecom operator said that the proceeds of the ₹18,000-crore follow-on public offer (FPO) would not be used for paying vendor or government dues. "We are pleased to see the positive developments on Vodafone Idea’s fundraise and expect that VI will clear over-dues of Indus in its entirety. IAF veteran Dalip Singh Majithia dies at 103
New Delhi: Veteran air warrior Squadron Leader (retd) Dalip Singh Majithia, who joined the Indian Air Force during the tumultuous years of World War II and distinguished himself as a «fearless aviator» during his career, has died. He was 103. The centenarian, who had «over 1,100 flying hours to his name», including missions in aircraft such as Hurricanes and Spitfires, passed away at Uttarakhand's Rudrapur in the early hours of Tuesday, IAF sources said. He was affectionately called 'Maji' by his fellow air warriors. Sqn Ldr Majithia's leadership skills were forged and tested in the crucible of war, they said.
