How Trump could win, and deserve, a Nobel Peace Prize
Trump is obsessed with winning the Nobel Peace Prize, which is one reason why he’s pushing Ukraine and Russia so hard toward cease-fire negotiations. The way the US president is going about it won’t earn him any favor in Oslo, though, because so far he mainly seems to be coercing Ukraine to capitulate.

Another country, another problem with the Royals: Now, eldest son of Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit arrested for alleged rape
Crown Princess Mette-Marit's eldest son has been arrested again, this time on suspicion of sexual assault. Marius Borg Høiby, Mette-Marit's son from a previous relationship, is the stepson of Crown Prince Haakon, the heir to the Norwegian throne. He has no official functions or royal titles, as quoted in a report by The AP. Borg Høiby was arrested in Oslo late Monday on preliminary allegations of participating in sexual intercourse with someone who is unconscious or for other reasons unable to resist the act. A preliminary charge allows police to detain somebody while they conduct an investigation and precedes a formal charge. Also Read:High Potential: When will new episodes release? My first trip to Norway, with AI as a guide
trip to Norway, a place I'd never been. So I did none of my usual obsessive online research and instead asked three AI planners to create a four-day itinerary. None of them, alas, mentioned the saunas or the salmon. Two assistants were, however, eager to learn more about me in order to tailor their initially generic recommendations, which they had spewed out within seconds. Vacay, a personalized travel planning tool, presented me with a list of questions, while Mindtrip, a new AI travel assistant, invited me to take a quiz. (ChatGPT, the third assistant, asked nothing.)

"The world gained from a peace dividend after USSR’s decline— that calm is shrinking now...": Kenneth Rogoff
Kenneth Rogoff, former chief economist of the IMF, is Maurits C. Boas Chair of International Economics at Harvard University. Speaking to Srijana Mitra Das, he discusses the record rise in military expenditure worldwide: Q. Recent reports find global defence spending now amounts to $2443 billion — which economic areas does this impact most? A. While military spending does spin off some technology, by and large, it is not good for growth or consumption because it’s destructive. The United States and Europe are facing pressures today because of Ukraine, the Middle East and potentially Taiwan — but the defence budgets of the West are tuned to a different era. We had a peace dividend after the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 — now, things are going into reverse. This raises the pressure on debt and inflation.

AAP supporters worldwide condemn arrest of Arvind Kejriwal; observe day of fast in solidarity
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) globally have observed a day of protest and fasting in solidarity with party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in an alleged money laundering case. Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21, hours after the high court refused to grant him protection from coercive action by the federal anti-money laundering agency. He is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar jail. AAP volunteers in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia gathered in front of Indian embassies and popular locations on Monday to protest Kejriwal's arrest and call for his immediate release, a media release said. «Arvind Kejriwal is a symbol of hope for millions of Indians who are fighting for a more just and equitable society,» said AAP member Jeswanth Reddy from Los Angeles. «His arrest is an attack on democracy and the right to dissent. We will not be silenced.»
