Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BJP on Monday launched a new ad campaign attacking the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and urging people to "Say No to Congress." The campaign highlighted various incidents from the past, including the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, with headlines such as «26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack», «2003 Mumbai serial blasts», «Chronology of the 7/11 train bombing case», and «Death toll in Pune blast rises to 17.» It also referred to tragedies like the Gowari massacre and the Palghar Sadhu lynching, questioning the government's response. The campaign also focused on issues such as corruption, with the BJP mentioning the alleged black-marketing of Remdesivir by a Congress official, and allegations of financial mismanagement in the BMC.

GlobalBees, the house of brands subsidiary of baby and mother care products retailer FirstCry, has reported a 55% revenue growth of Rs 432.5 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2024, outperforming similar brands that have seen slower growth amid a consumption downturn. The adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) for GlobalBees also surged by 154% year-on-year (YoY). This week IT engineering services provider L&T Tech Services signed an agreement to acquire California-based Intelliswift for a total consideration of $110 million. Amit Chadha, the company’s chief executive and managing director, told ET that the firm plans to double the revenue of the acquired company (whose annual revenue is about $100 million) in the next three years. While half of Intelliswift’s revenue comes from high tech, the rest comes from fintech and retail, along with the private equity channel. Persistent Systems in September said it was acquiring select assets from SoHo Dragon for $4.7 million. SoHo Dragon is a Wall Street-based consulting and staffing firm primarily in the business of providing IT services to BFSI customers. The Pune based firm said at the time, “The acquisition of the select assets will help in consolidating the relationship with a strategic and large customer in the BFSI domain.”

Realty firm Godrej Properties' net debt rose 2% during the September quarter to ₹7,572 crore with the company focusing on land acquisition for future growth. Its net debt stood at ₹7,432 crore at the end of the June quarter, according to an investors' presentation. Godrej Properties is one of the leading developers in the country. It has a major presence in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, and Bengaluru. Godrej Properties plans to raise up to ₹6,000 crore through the issue of securities. The board had last month approved the proposal. The funds would be raised through the issuance of securities, including equity shares, debentures, preference shares, and/or any other eligible securities. The fundraising could be in one or more tranches through public and/or private offerings, including qualified institutions placement, rights issue, further public offer or any other mode as may be permitted under applicable laws.

NCP MLA Sunil Tingre on Saturday denied sending any legal notice to NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar as claimed by the latter's daughter and MP Supriya Sule.
