Dhananjay Chandrachud said on Saturday that he sat before God (in his home) and asked him to find a solution to the vexed Ram Janmabhoomi- Babri Masjid dispute when the case came up before a bench led by Justice Ranjan Gogoi in which Chandrachud was one of the justices. In Ayodhya (Ramjanmabhoomi- Babri Masjid case) when it came before me, for three months, we were thinking about the Ayodhya case, meaning for hundreds of years for which there was no solution. At that time in my regular life, I have been worshipping God in my home and at that time I sat before God and I told him that he should find a solution for this and you will believe this if you have faith then God will always find a way for us”said Chandrachud who is set to retire on November 10.

Indian airlines received bomb threats, as reported by sources. Among the airlines affected are IndiGo, Vistara, Air India, and Akasa Air, including some international routes. IndiGo had six flights impacted by the threats, which included routes such as 6E 58 from Jeddah to Mumbai, 6E 87 from Kozhikode to Dammam, and flights 6E 11 and 6E 17 from Delhi and Mumbai to Istanbul, respectively. Tata Toyo Radiator, a joint venture among Tata AutoComp Systems and Japanese companies T RAD Co and Mitsubishi, has leased more than 250,000 sq ft of warehousing space in Pune’s Khed locality for 10 years. The company will be initially paying rent and tenant improvement cost of Rs 90 lakh per month — Rs 67 lakh in rent and Rs 23 lakh of tenant improvement cost. Eldercare startup Primus Senior Living has raised $20 million in a seed funding round led by General Catalyst, with participation from Zerodha cofounder Nikhil Kamath and Gruhas, the investment firm co-founded by Kamath and Abhijeet Pai of Puzzolana Group. General Catalyst contributed $7 million to the round, while Kamath and Gruhas invested the remaining $13 million, according to Adarsh Narahari, founder and managing director of Primus. Skoda is looking to get into the high volume segment in the Indian market as it gears up to drive in all-new compact SUV Kylaq in India, according to a senior company official. The company, which currently sells four models in India, plans to drive in the sub-4 meter model early next year to compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. Skoda has invested around 250 million Euro on the Kylaq project enabling a 30 per cent increase at its Chakan (near Pune) based manufacturing plant. Blinkit, the quick-commerce arm of food delivery major Zomato, has rolled out 10-minute returns for footwear and clothing categories. “Customers can initiate a return/ exchange in case of a size or fit issue with the delivered product. This solves a crucial problem of size anxiety for categories like clothing and footwear,” Albinder Dhindsa, chief executive of Blinkit, wrote in a post on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter). Dhindsa said that the Zomato-owned platform has been testing the return feature in Delhi NCR for a few weeks and has now enabled it for Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune, with plans to expand to more cities soon.

In Hyderabad, the price rose from Rs 4,686 in 2019 to Rs 8,500 in 2024, representing an 81% rise in five years. Chennai recorded a surge from Rs 4,451 in 2019 to Rs 8,023 in 2024, indicating an 80% rise during the five-year period.
