Justice Inside concert prevention Courts Investigations Scandals "Many Karnataka ministers will be implicated if serious investigation takes place": BJP MP Shettar on alleged honey trap
BJP MP Jagadish Shettar on Saturday raised concerns over the alleged honeytrap scandal in Karnataka, claiming that several insiders, including ministers and influential figures, are involved in it. He accused the state government of attempting to suppress the issue to prevent a political crisis and reiterated his demand for a CBI investigation. Speaking to the media, Shettar alleged that a thorough probe could expose high-profile individuals, which is why there is a concerted effort to shut down the case. «Several insiders are involved, and if a serious investigation takes place, many Karnataka ministers and important people will be implicated, which is why they want to close everything. I have insisted multiple times that the honey trap issue should be investigated by the CBI to reveal the truth, as the current government appears to be trying to suppress the matter to avoid a political collapse,» the BJP MP said. Recently, the Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to entertain a PIL seeking an independent probe by CBI or SIT into the alleged honeytrapping of legislators, public servants and judges in Karnataka.

Ball WhatsApp track reports Department bowling RR VS CSK weather, pitch report: Will rain play a spoilsport? What will the conditions be like in Guwahati today? Check details here
Dhoni's unbeaten 30 off 16 balls only has value for nostalgia merchants as the former India captain is doing disservice to his team by coming in to bat when all is seemingly lost. In this backdrop, playing RR on a surface which is «more Chepauk-ish than typical Barsapara Stadium track full of runs» might just help CSK get a win against a side that also doesn't boast of a great bowling attack. Also Riyan Parag is too raw as a skipper and to put it mildly seems completely out of place for a high stakes assignment like leading a billion dollar franchise. But all these years, CSK had the personnel to play that game, especially in the bowling department, which doesn't look top notch this year.

markets COST UPS wellness country isolate GAIL’s Rs 20 hike in tariff will translate to Rs 3,400 crore per annum: Sandeep Kumar Gupta
Sandeep Kumar Gupta, CMD, GAIL (India), says the Rs 20 increase in tariff which they have filed will translate to Rs 3,400 crore per annum and they are very hopeful that at least two elements out of this, – Rs 1,200 crore for true up-of-the-system use gas cost and about Rs 800 crore due to the APM price deallocation and the capacity determination totalling Rs 2,000 crore – is certain. We expect that this development should be there in the next month itself. How do you see the proposed tariff changes by PNGRB and how does GAIL benefit from this? Sandeep Kumar Gupta: The public consultation document which has been floated by PNGRB proposing certain changes in the regulation covers two-three main changes. First, there will be only two zones instead of the three zonal tariffs presently available and the silver lining is that for all CGDs, for their domestic PNG and CNG volumes, only zone one tariff will be applicable. This will be a big positive for GAIL which is present in 72 geographical areas out of the total 307 geographical areas.

Sandeep Dikshit on Saturday questioned the implementation of the BJP's financial aid scheme of providing Rs 2,500 per month to women in Delhi and said that the scheme compromises 60 per cent of the national capital's budget. «If they fulfil that promise, we will welcome it. However, there is only one question: Where will the funds for this come from? The BJP had said that every woman above the age of 18 would be given this honour. If we go by the Election Commission's data, there were approximately 72 lakh female voters in Delhi. The total cost for this comes to around Rs 21,600 crore. Now, considering the entire development budget is 37,000 crore, which includes hospitals, schools, and subsidies, how can you allocate around 60 percent of the budget to just one scheme?» Dikshit told ANI. «I hope that the money spent by the Delhi government will not compromise development,» the Congress leader said.
