Polygon cofounder Sandeep Nailwal on Monday said he wants Indian developers in the Web3 space globally to spearhead protocol development. «I want Indian developers to be at the forefront of protocol development. If we want to attract the best and brightest of Indian talent into Web3, we need to improve education on a protocol level,» Nailwal said, speaking at the Build for Web3 Summit in Bengaluru.

Abhyudaya Cooperative Bank's net non-performing assets (NPAs) ratio have zoomed up to 12 per cent, sources said on Saturday. A day after the Reserve Bank superseded the city-headquartered bank's board, it has emerged that the cooperative bank's cost-to-income ratio had zoomed up to 80 per cent. The RBI order on Friday had superseded the board for 12 months on material concerns emanating from poor governance standards observed in the bank" but refrained from putting any business restrictions.

In his order on Friday, Sessions Judge Ajit Kumar Hinger said the prosecution has presented adequate evidence to authenticate facts. Priya Seth (27), the main accused, befriended Dushyant Sharma on Tinder and later called him to a rented accommodation where she and her two accomplices, Dishkant Kamra and Lakshya Walia, held him hostage to demand ransom from his family. After Dushyant's family failed to pay the ransom, the accused killed him by stabbing him multiple times and smothering him with a pillow, prosecution counsel Sandeep Lohariya said on Saturday. «The prosecution has presented adequate evidence to authenticate these facts. The evidence presented by the prosecution proved that the accused have committed the crime,» Lohariya quoted the judge as saying. Based on the evidence, the court convicted the three accused under sections 342 (wrongful confinement), 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced them to life imprisonment, he said. Sharma met Seth online in February 2018.

In India, the movie is expected to perform spectacularly well among the Telugu-speaking audience. A limited booking was opened in Hyderabad and it has already sold 5,000 tickets.

‘Animal’ started on Sunday, November 26, in India. The film is expected to earn ₹50 crore on its opening day, according to industry tracker Sacnilk reports. Only 3,200 tickets have been sold for 206 locations during the film's early reservations in the US.
