The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has said that surface parkings will be free during the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Holiday, which will be on Friday, September 29, 2023, until 7:59 AM on Saturday, September 30, 2023. In addition, parking spaces at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be free of charge during the official holiday. According to the this year's official holiday calendar, the the September 29 to October 1 would be the last long weekend in the UAE. The Abu Dhabi authority has urged drivers to avoid parking in prohibited areas. It also urged drivers to park properly in the designated areas and to avoid parking in residential parking spaces from 9:00 PM until 8:00 AM. The Integrated Transport Centre of Abu Dhabi has also announced timings of timings and operation of its Customer Centres. The authorities said that Customers' Happiness Centres across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be closed during the holiday, on Friday, September 29, 2023. Customers however can use ITC’s services on its digital platforms through its website www.itc.gov.ae, TAMM platform, the Darb and Darbi smart apps. In addition, customers may contact the unified Service Support Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport on its toll-free number 800850 and TransAD 600535353, which are available 24/7. Abu Dhabi's transport authorities said that public bus services in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will operate based on the usual unified schedule throughout weekends and official holidays.

Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered a common compilation of submissions be filed by both the parties in a petition by Delhi government challenging the central government's law establishing pre-eminence of the lieutenant governor over the elected AAP dispensation in controlling services in the national capital. The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) on Wednesday said to ease the commutation of visitors to the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), it will increase frequency of trains on the Aqua Line from September 21 to 25. NMRC managing director Lokesh M said that the visitors can reach the exhibition through the nearest metro station Knowledge Park. To avoid crowding at stations and to manage rush of visitors, NMRC has increased the frequency of trains.

The District School Inspector of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh Monday said schools from nursery to Class 12 will be shut after 2 pm on September 21, and 22 on account of UP International Trade Show 2023 and the Moto GP events which will take place in the city. All colleges, universities and higher educational institutes across Noida and Greater Noida will remain closed on Thursday and Friday, the directives issued by Dharmveer Singh, district inspector of schools, Gautam Budh Nagar further said. An official communication to this effect was issued by the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Dharmveer Singh.

Vishwakarma Jayanti', Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched 'PM Vishwakarma' scheme for the benefit of traditional artisans, with an allocation of Rs 13,000 crore. The event took place at the newly inaugurated India International Convention and Expo Centre in Dwarka, New Delhi. The launched scheme will offer skill enhancement through both basic and advanced training, a toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000, collateral-free credit support up to Rs 1 lakh (first tranche) and Rs 2 lakh (second tranche) at a concessional interest rate of 5 per cent, incentives for digital transactions, and marketing support, read a PMO press release. «PM Vishwakarma scheme has been launched today which will emerge as a ray of hope for artists and craftspersons,» said PM Modi during the event. The scheme will register 'Vishwakarmas', who create using their hands and tools, at no cost through Common Services Centres, utilising the biometric-based 'PM Vishwakarma' portal. These artisans and craftspeople will receive recognition in the form of a PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card. It will benefit artisans and craftspeople in rural and urban areas across India.
