In the 83-paragraph declaration, the India-led G20 proposed scaling up inclusive action against climate change with a green development pact and sustainable development goals, admitted the African Union in the group, put crypto-asset regulation on the global agenda, and committed to reforming multilateral development banks (MDBs). There were widespread fears the summit may end without a declaration due to divergence over the Ukraine-Russia conflict that shadowed all ministerial meetings before the Leaders' Summit. «History has been created with the adoption of the New Delhi Leaders' Declaration,» said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media site X.

G20 Declaration embodies the 'One Family, One Earth, One Future' vision and inclusion of the African Union in the global economic forum grouping will greatly intensify partnership with the continent, B20 Chair N Chandrasekaran said on Saturday. NEW DELHI : The union health ministry is considering a proposal to regulate alcohol content in drug preparations such as aromatic tincture in order to curb their illegal sale at pharmacies. They are most often used as ‘country liquor’ by economically weaker sections. As part of the proposal, the government plans to amend the Drug Rules, 1945 to bring alcohol-based drug formulations under Schedule H1 from existing Schedule K drugs.
