Schloss Schauenstein
Schloss Schauenstein isn't just a meal, it's a journey. Located in Furstenau, the 'smallest town' in the world, near the Italian-Swiss border, the castle is a 1.5-hr drive from Zurich. The 5-hr round trip may sound excessive for lunch, but, boy, is it worth it. Chef Andreas Caminada opened Schauenstein's restaurant in 2003, blending creativity with the region's bounty. Unlike traditional French tasting menus, Caminada's offerings are a multi-sensory delight. Local ingredients like red cabbage, pikeperch and langoustine are transformed into exquisite courses that are as imaginative as they are delicious. Each dish is accompanied by a collectable card detailing its preparation and wine pairing, adding storytelling to the experience.

Baba Vanga and Nostradamus have made this same scary prediction for 2025
Baba Vanga and Nostradamus are gaining traction for their eerily similar predictions for 2025. Blind Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga became a cult figure among conspiracy theorists after some of her predictions turned out to be true. Also called the Nostradamus of the Balkans, Baba Vanga is said to have predicted some of the major world events like the 9/11 terror attacks, the death of Princess Diana, the Chernobyl disaster, and Brexit. On the other hand, ancient French astrologer Michel de Nostredame, also known as Nostradamus, has also made many accurate predictions. These legendary prophets, known for their astonishingly accurate forecasts, have made strikingly similar prophecies, including alien contact with humans, an assassination attempt on Vladimir Putin, terrorist attacks in Europe, and a tumultuous reign for King Charles.

The idea of a Brics currency is looking like a charade
Subscribe to enjoy similar stories. Last month’s Brics summit in Kazan, Russia, was, like all summits, heavy on photo ops. And it yielded a second act that was similarly heavier on symbolism than substance: the release of a report by the Russian finance ministry and central bank on “improvement of the international monetary and financial system," by which Russian officials obviously meant “finding an alternative to the weaponized dollar." Expressions of dissatisfaction with the dominance of the dollar over global money and finance go back at least to French finance minister Valéry Giscard d’Estaing in 1965, who famously lamented the greenback’s “exorbitant privilege." Indeed, the desire for an alternative played no small part in the creation of the euro 34 years later.

Indian knowledge workers advanced users of AI, outpacing global counterparts: Survey
The ‘AI Collaboration Index’ report by Atlassian – a team collaboration and productivity software company – surveyed 5,000 knowledge workers across India, the US, Australia, Germany, and France. It outlines four stages of AI collaboration – from basic adoption as a simple tool (stage 1) to advanced usage as a strategic partner and decision-making advisor (stage 4). Even at the earliest stages of AI adoption, Indian knowledge workers are experiencing significant productivity gains. In India, those using AI as a simple tool (stage 1) report saving an average of 104 minutes per day, compared to the global average of around 45 minutes. This jumps to a whopping 127 minutes per day for strategic AI collaborators (stage 4), equivalent to more than an extra workday each week.

Macron-Modi's G20 interaction turns into a playful banter with World Bank President's candid remark
Narendra Modi on Monday shared a hearty laughter with French President Emmanuel Macron and World Bank President Ajay Banga, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A video posted on Macron’s official X (formerly Twitter) account captured the candid exchange, in which Macron warmly greets PM Modi with a hug, and Banga lightens the mood with a witty remark. In the clip, Banga approaches the two leaders and, turning to PM Modi, jokes: «He [Macron] is going from one Indian to another,» prompting laughter from both Modi and Macron.

French President Emmanuel Macron hails 'good' US decision on Ukraine missiles
«It was a decision that was a totally good one,» Macron said in Brazil, on the sidelines of a G20 summit also attended by US President Joe Biden, who made the policy change. «I understand it was also triggered by a grave change in the conflict which shouldn't be underestimated, which is the entry of North Korean troops alongside Russia on what is European soil,» he told journalists.

Cancer-stricken King Charles unable to control his son Prince William and brother Prince Andrew; here's what reports say
Prince William's insult to ailing King Charles exposed that self-interest is triumphant. Without cunning sons, cunning fathers, cunning uncles, brothers, friends, dukes, earls, French cousins, and some queens' Machiavellian boyfriends vying for control of the throne, British royal history would be incomplete. However, witnessing it firsthand is a completely different matter, as quoted in a report by The New York Post. Only this week has Prince William gone out and done a significant new interview regarding his style of governance, effectively throwing his beloved father, King Charles, under a London bus and implying that his reign is a bit of a farce.
