UPS FIVE CEO country hospital orienteering India is a country that shouldn't be missed: Sébastien Bazin, group chairman and CEO, Accor
luxury hotels of brands such as Fairmont, Raffles and Sofitel opening up in the years ahead besides hotels of other brands from Accor’s luxury and lifestyle division, said Sébastien Bazin, group chairman and CEO of the French multinational hospitality chain and Europe’s largest hotel chain in an interview with ET. Accor will open 30 hotels in India totalling about 5,500 keys in the next three to five years. The chain currently has 62 hotels in India totalling around 11,000 rooms, but that’s not enough, Bazin said. “I have been a big believer in India, but we have 2000 hotels in France and less than 100 hotels in India. Going by the size of the country, we should have well over 1000 hotels here. I know this is going to take very long but it should happen in the future and it is going to be worth it. We will need more Accor employees here across many different layers over time and we will have to give them greater decision-making powers," he added.

Booking Analysis students Universities Inside hospital patient Harvard says it's removed human skin from binding of 19th century book
Harvard University said it has removed human skin from the binding of a 19th century book about the afterlife that has been in its collections since the 1930s. The decision came after a review found ethical concerns with the book's origin and history. The book, «Des Destinees de L'ame,» meaning «Destinies of the Soul,» was written by Arsene Houssaye, a French novelist and poet, in the early 1880s. The printed text was given to a physician, Ludovic Bouland, who «bound the book with skin he took without consent from the body of a deceased female patient in a hospital where he worked,» Harvard said in a recent statement. The book has been at the university's Houghton Library. Bouland included a handwritten note inside the book. It said «a book about the human soul deserved to have a human covering,» associate university librarian Thomas Hyry said in a published question-and-answer segment online Wednesday. The note also detailed the process behind preparing the skin for binding.

UPS Dash Ball Food love Celebrity social The harder, the better: Why Indians have a distaste for soft-boiled eggs
soft-boiled egg, the ball is raised to the other end of the rod and released. It hits the mould with a force of 0.6867 Newtons, just enough to crack the eggshell so the top comes off cleanly and the contents can be dug out and eaten. Germans aren’t alone in their love for soft-boiled eggs; Singapore’s kopitiam (coffee-shop) style eggs are served with a dash of soy sauce and pepper. France has many recipes structured around oeufs mollets, most notably one which suspends them in savoury jelly. Scotch eggs envelop them with minced meat. Japanese ramen includes a soft-boiled egg whose creaminess subtly helps enrich the broth. Indians eat eggs scrambled with onions, tomatoes and coriander, or stir-fried with kheema. We hard boil and cook them in curries. We make them into omelettes, stuff them into rolls, or dunk them in gravy. We fry and serve them with cheese and chillies on toast in the newly-popular Eggs Kejriwal. We make bizarre variations (fried with Fanta!) that are condemned or celebrated on social media. What we don’t like is to just soft-boil them.

Digital Platform Strategy Instagram country audience reports Brands latch on to Snapchat lingo with Gen Z in mind
brands in India focusing on Generation Z are increasingly including Snapchat in their advertising strategy, as they look to use the appeal of the platform’s filters and visual-first approach to nudge buyers in this age group to spend more. Although Instagram and YouTube remain the platforms of choice for mass digital advertising, Snapchat is increasingly becoming the social messaging app that brands are using to focus on Gen Z, or people in the age group of 12 to 27 years. «I see more and more brands which are targeting Gen Z utilising Snapchat in their advertising strategies, especially brands like Tira, Lakme and MamaEarth,» Srikant Rajasekharuni, CEO and co-founder of Red Matter Technologies (RMT), told ET. India has Snapchat’s largest audience. In May last year, Snapchat had said its monthly active users in the country had topped 200 million. India also leads as the country with the largest Snapchat advertising audience, ahead of the US, Pakistan, France, and the UK, according to WARC's latest platform report. «Snapchat has emerged as one of the best platforms to reach out to Gen Z in a captivating manner, not just for impressions sake but because of all their engagement tools, such as filters, which is why it is becoming more important in the media and advertising mix of brands,» Rajasekharuni said.
