Pax Jolie-Pitt discharged from ICU after e-bike accident: A long road of recovery ahead
Pax Jolie-Pitt, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has been discharged from the intensive care unit (ICU) after an e-bike accident. Pax, 20, was taken to the hospital following the July 29 collision on Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles. Around five o'clock in the evening, he apparently struck the back of a car in heavy traffic. Reports state that Pax suffered hip pain in addition to a head injury. A possibly little brain bleed was one of the initial worries, as per the reports of Yahoo entertainment. Pax is already starting his recuperation after being discharged from the intensive care unit, a source told People. Physical treatment will be required, and he has a «long road of recovery» ahead. Pax and his mother, Angelina Jolie, are reportedly extremely grateful for the first responders' quick action and the excellent medical attention Pax received, according to the source. Through this difficult period, Pax's siblings have been there for him on a regular basis, offering support, and Jolie has been by his side the entire time he has been in the hospital.

Americans have more depth than anyone at the pool, but gold medals harder and harder to come by
Olympic medal podium is no longer a given for U.S. swimmers. Nine days of thrilling competition at La Defense Arena wrapped up Sunday night with the Americans barely pulling out the lead in the gold medal standings thanks to a victory in the final race. The U.S. finished with just eight golds, its fewest since the 1988 Seoul Games and one ahead of its biggest rival, Australia.

Is Olympic fame Yusuf Dikec really that cool in real life? His colleague shares the truth
Yusuf Dikec, a Turkish shooter, has become a social media sensation thanks to his relaxed demeanor at the shooting range during the Paris Olympics. Dikec, a former officer in the Turkish Gendarmerie, a branch of Turkish Ministry of Interior responsible for the maintenance of the public order in areas that fall outside the jurisdiction of police forces, teamed up with Sevval Ilayda Tarhan to secure a silver medal in the mixed team 10-meter air pistol event. His unorthodox style, including casual attire and a hand casually tucked into his pocket, has caught the attention of many online. Dikec's teammate, Sevval Ilayda Tarhan, has defended his casual style, noting that Dikec’s choice of regular glasses and minimal gear is a personal preference that works for him. She also expressed pride in his newfound fame and confirmed that the team is aiming for gold at the next Olympics in Los Angeles. «But at the same time, he's very warm to people close to him,» she said. «You can crack jokes with him, share anything with him.»

Olympics 2024: After drawing blank in Rio and Tokyo, shooting fraternity cautiously happy post Paris
shooting contingent's biggest-ever medal haul at the Olympics here, after drawing a blank in the previous two editions in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo, definitely calls for celebration but the fraternity is treading cautiously with an eye already on the 2028 Los Angeles Games. All of India's medal at the Paris Olympics have come via shooting thus far and there is a slight possibility of increasing the medal count to four by the time the competition ends on Monday. The squad has also overcome the mental barrier that prevented Manu Bhaker and Co from excelling on the biggest stage. The highlight of the campaign has been Manu's two medals, the second one shared with Sarabjot Singh in the 10m pistol mixed team.

Venezuelan trap shooter Leonel Martinez, age is just a number. He is back at the Olympics after 40 long years and is not ready to walk into the sunset just yet. The next edition of the mega event will be staged in Los Angeles and Martinez says it is only fitting he finishes from where he started four decades ago. «I have a light inside guiding me towards Los Angeles 2028.
