They think, how can someone cross the mark of 400 seats?,» said Yogi Aditynath. He further stated that the people will only vote for the BJP over Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. «A voice comes from people who say that we will bring those who brought Lord Ram. This whole election is between 'Ram Bhakt' and 'Ram Drohi'...» he added.

BJP on Sunday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should not indulge in theatrics and instead break his «silence» on the alleged assault on his party MP Swati Maliwal at the CM residence by his aide Bibhav Kumar. The reaction came after Kejriwal and his party workers and leaders held a massive protest near the BJP headquarters against Kumar's arrest in connection with the case. «Kejriwal should break his silence instead of his dramebazi and answer specific questions,» BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said in a post on X. The BJP leader asked Kejriwal if he ordered the alleged attack on Swati Maliwal and gave patronage to Bibhav Kumar because he knows his «dark secrets».

Amit Shah on Sunday asserted that Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) belongs to India, and «we will take it back». Speaking to on Sunday, DCP Delhi Central, Harsha Vardhan Mandava said, «Based on the information we received through social media and other channels, we have made preventive arrangements on DDU Marg to ensure that the law and order are maintained at all costs. We are focused and committed to making adequate security deployments and have barricades in place to ward off any attempt to disrupt law and order.»

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday began his protest march against Bhartiya Janata Party with other AAP leaders. The Delhi CM started marching towards BJP headquarters after addressing a public gathering where he challenged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send him and his party workers to jail. Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, who has been accused by her party of being part of a conspiracy to frame Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a false case, on Sunday said her party colleagues once sought justice for Nirbhaya but today they are supporting a person accused of assaulting her. She said if AAP leader and former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, who is in jail in connection with the Delhi excise police case, had been here «maybe things wouldn't have been so bad for me!» Maliwal has alleged that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar assaulted her on May 13 when she went to the CM's residence to meet him. The Aam Aadmi Party has trashed her allegations and claimed Maliwal was acting at the behest of the BJP to frame Kejriwal in a fake case. Maliwal, who has been associated with the AAP since its inception more than 10 years ago, said on Sunday there was a time when «we all used to come out on the streets to get justice for Nirbhaya».

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday hit out at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, saying him and his party did not fear being arrested and that their ideas would live on even if the party was gone. «You arrest all of us and then see if AAP gets destroyed or gets bigger,» the Aam Aadmi Party chief said at the party's headquarters, ahead of a planned protest march to the BJP's headquarters in the national capital. «I along with my MLAs and MPs will go to the BJP office so that the Prime Minister can send anyone he wants to jail,» Kejriwal added.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday said Karnataka's Shakti scheme providing for free bus rides for women has not led to any revenue loss for the Bangalore Metro, and he was shocked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's comments. “The Prime Minister lacks information on the Shakthi scheme and hence he has said that the scheme has impacted revenues of Bengaluru metro. Namma metro has earned a revenue of Rs 130 crore in the last one year. Footfalls too have gone up by 30% for the same period. Bengaluru metro is limited to Bengaluru, while Shakthi scheme has been rolled out across the State," he told the media in Bengaluru. The Dy CM was questioning the PM's assessment of metro finances. The PM, in a recent interview, had questioned the freebies that potentially create a crisis of funds for a state government. The governments, he said, would build metro networks in a city, but later promise free bus rides in the same city to win elections. This meant taking away 50% of passengers.

Referring to Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi at an election rally in Ambala said the neighbouring country, which used to trouble India for the past 70 years, is now roaming with a begging bowl in its hands due to the BJP's 'dhaakad' government at the Centre. «When there is a 'dhaakad' government in the country, enemies too think 100 times before doing anything. Pakistan had been troubling India for 70 years, it had bombs in its hands. Today it has 'bheekh ka katora' (begging bowl) in its hands. When there is a 'dhaakad' government, enemies tremble,» Prime Minister said.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that the Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir will become part of India within six months after Prime Minister Modi is re-elected for his third term. Addressing a rally here today, CM Yogi said that Pakistan is facing difficulties in saving PoJK. «In the last 10 years, we have seen a new India. Borders have been secured, terrorism and Naxalism have been curbed. When the Mumbai blasts took place, the Congress-led UPA government used to say that the terrorists were from across the border. So what was the use of your missile then?» he said.

Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been displaying the Chinese constitution at his rallies, instead of the Indian one. The BJP leader claimed that the book shown by Gandhi is with a red cover like the original Chinese constitution, whereas the original Indian constitution has a blue cover. «Rahul is displaying a red Chinese constitution to the people attending his meetings,» Sarma wrote on X.
