Badaun double murder case, Uttar Pradesh Police today arrested Javed, the second accused, from Bareilly on Thursday. As per reports, Javed surrendered before the police. Javed had been evading law enforcement since the tragic incident on Tuesday evening, where two children lost their lives. His brother, Sajid, identified as the primary suspect, faced fatal consequences as he was confronted by the police in an encounter merely two hours after the crime occurred. Confirming the arrest, IG Bareilly range R K Singh stated, «Javed was arrested on Thursday.» In a video recorded subsequent to his arrest, Javed expressed, «I ran straight to Delhi after the incident, and from there, I have come to Bareilly to surrender. I have received phone calls from people about what my brother did.» He maintained that he had no knowledge of his brother's motives behind the heinous act and asserted that he fled out of concern for his own safety.
