Trump's America first policy is good for India: EAM S Jaishankar
S Jaishankar during a discussion at Chatham House in London. The shift, largely driven by US President Donald Trump’s foreign policy, is helping reshape global alliances. “If I were to look at the big priorities of this president, many of them work for us,” Jaishankar stated. “He seems to be committed to keeping energy prices reasonably affordable and stable—we welcome that. He is putting a lot of emphasis on tech and on the use of tech as a game changer in global politics. That offers a lot of possibilities for us.” Jaishankar noted that the US administration under Trump is actively moving towards multipolarity, a shift that aligns with India’s vision for the future. “We see a president and an administration moving towards multipolarity, and that is something which suits India.”

F1 Title @ 40: No one has done it In 59 years. Can Hamilton do it?
Lewis Hamilton isn’t about to let age stop him pursuing an historic eighth Formula 1 title with his new team Ferrari. An eighth world title would be an all-time record but winning after turning 40 has been a challenge for even the greatest drivers in F1 history. No driver has won a race past the age of 40 since 1994, and there’s hasn’t been a 40-plus world champion in 59 years. Hamilton told Time last month he rejects comparisons with older drivers “past or present.” He added: “I’m hungry, driven, don’t have a wife and kids. I’m focused on one thing, and that’s winning.” The 2025 season starts next week in Melbourne, Australia. Here’s a look at the successes and failures of F1 greats after reaching the age of 40:

While many assumed «Bobby» was simply a quirky middle name, Brown casually dropped the bombshell that the name isn't even part of her birth identity.

Third Eye: Expressing concern, displeasure with High Court, and no prizes for guessing
Expressing concern: The Supreme Court on Wednesday expressed concern over ego clashes between IAS and IPS/IFS (forest service) officers. Speaking from his experience as a government lawyer and a judge for over two decades, senior SC Judge BR Gavai shared with solicitor general Tushar Mehta that there has always been a «conflict» between them. Justice Gavai said that IAS officers always show their «supremacy» over IPS and IFS officers. The development took place during a hearing pertaining to the omnibus forest protection matter. Displeasure with High Court The Supreme Court has recorded its displeasure with the way certain orders are passed by the Allahabad High Court. A bench headed by justice Abhay Oka on Wednesday disapproved of the way a revision appeal was decided by the high court. Remanding the case back to the Lucknow bench of HC for reconsideration, the top court directed the high court to call for the trial court record before deciding the matter. In January, another bench headed by justice Surya Kant had observed that the functioning of Allahabad High Court has been «worrisome». The bench had also observed that the filing and listing of cases in the Allahabad HC had «collapsed».
