Indigo Airlines issued a travel advisory for passengers owing to fog conditions in the national capital on Sunday. Air charter services operator Sirius India Airlines has said it looks to raise USD 100 million through debt and other instruments for fleet and services expansion as it sees demand soaring from across segments. Starting from October 17, Air India has introduced fare families, with the lowest economy fare offering one checked bag of up to 23 kg for these routes. Those who want to check in two bags will need to select a higher economy fare, with the price difference beginning at approximately Rs 4,000 for a one-way ticket. Air India Express on Friday announced that is is expanding the number of weekly flights in its winter schedule from Kolkata to Bagdogra by 37 per cent. The Tata-owned airline will now operate over 230 weekly flights from Kolkata and Bagdogra, up from 168 during the previous winter season.
