A total of 120 flights (domestic and international) were delayed on account of dense fog last Wednesday. Additionally, a total of 53 flights (including domestic & international) were cancelled because of fog and other operational reasons.

In November 2022, the DoT had asked all mobile operators not to install any 5G sites in the 3,300-3,670 MHz band within 2.1 km of both ends of the runway at all airports in India, to avoid potential interference with aircraft radio frequencies. But it was only meant to be a temporary measure till altimeters of aircraft were replaced.

Air Canada flight from London, England, to Toronto allegedly tried to open the aircraft doors midflight on Sunday, according to the airline and police.In a statement, Air Canada said there was an incident involving a “disruptive passenger” on the Toronto-bound flight from London’s Heathrow airport.Air Canada said their crews were able to manage the situation with the passenger, which allowed for the flight to continue normally to Toronto Pearson Airport.The flight landed in Toronto just after 3 p.m.

Pande joins the travel conglomerate from Udaan, India’s largest enterprise e-commerce company, where he was chief financial officer the past three years. Udaan announced his resignation on Monday.
