During the event, Apple also introduced a new USB-C charging case designed for the AirPods Pro 2. Notably, these upgraded earbuds are now equipped with dust resistance, boasting an IP54 rating, which is an improvement from their previous IPX4 rating. Moreover, they promise lossless audio quality when used in conjunction with the Apple Vision Pro, although this feature may have limited utility for the majority of users. Moving forward, the new USB-C charging case will come bundled with newly purchased AirPods Pro 2, as long as they are not part of the older stock.
