National Education Union (NEU), representing teachers in England, has decided against striking in the autumn term after accepting the government's pay offer. With 86% of its members voting in favor, the UK's largest teaching union agreed to a 6.5% pay rise. IRB Infrastructure Developers announced its April-June quarter results for fiscal 2023-24 (Q1FY24) reported a decline of 63 per cent in net profit at ₹133.67 crore, compared to ₹363.19 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Power Mech Projects has been awarded a mine development and operation (MDO) project of Rs 30,438 crore by state-owned steel maker SAIL. «This project is being awarded to a consortium of Power Mech Projects Ltd (PMPL) — PC Patel Infra Pvt Ltd for development and operation of Tasra opencast project, located at Jharia Coal fields in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand,» a regulatory filing said on Monday.

Thereafter, at 12:45 pm, Prime Minister will flag off metro trains and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects,» the statement informed. Prime Minister will become the 41st recipient of the award.
