Villagers laugh when they point towards it. «We have never had water in this,» they say speaking about this pond which was dug under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). They complain about hefty electricity bills, unpaid MGNREGA wages and of remaining uncovered under the PM Awas Yojana. Brij Lal, a resident of Chhindwarpara village in the same block, says development schemes have never reached them. But what has excited them the most in this election is Congress' Mahalakshmi scheme which promises ₹1 lakh per year to women of every poor family. markets Provident security Mobile Bill Updates International NRIs struggle with new mutual fund KYC rules: 3 reasons making MF investments difficult for them now
OCI investors to enter the market. Existing non-resident investors have also been affected. Due to this, many NRIs are losing out on the ability to capitalize on investment opportunities. The new KYC norms, which came into effect on April 1, 2024, introduced stringent requirements, rendering certain documents such as bank statements or utility bills not considered valid documents for completing the KYC process. While the new rules aim to enhance security and compliance, they have inadvertently created investment barriers for NRIs.
