Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with a lawsuit accusing him of raping and sex trafficking a young R&B performer for more than a decade.The bombshell filing, first reported by the New York Times, alleges that Combs controlled and abused singer Cassie for more than a decade, plying her with drugs, abusing her and forcing her to have sex with multiple male sex workers while he videotaped the encounters.Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, met Combs in 2005 when she was just 19, the lawsuit says. The pair started dating and allegedly it wasn’t long before the rap mogul began a pattern of control and abuse.In 2018, the suit says, Combs forced his way into her home and raped her.

Havells India Ltd. traded at Rs 1278.8 on BSE at 11:57AM (IST) on Friday, up 0.06 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1092.0 and a high of Rs 1466.0.

Flair Writing Industries has set the price band for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO) at Rs 288-304. The company plans to raise Rs 593 crore through the three-day issue which will open for subscription on November 22, Wednesday. Under the issue, the pen and writing instruments maker will issue fresh equity shares worth up to Rs 292 crore while an offer for sale (OFS) where equity shares worth Rs 301 crore will be offloaded by the existing shareholders. The retail portion has been reserved at 35%, where the investors can subscribe a minimum of one lot or 49 shares and in multiples thereof.

MUMBAI : After several months spent trying to sensitize lenders against the ongoing credit binge, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday raised risk weights on consumption loans, credit card exposures and loans to non-bank financiers by 25 percentage points each, hoping higher consumption of capital will slow such rapid growth. Bankers and financial sector experts said this would mean borrowers of such loans would have to shell out more as lenders try to compensate for the increase in capital requirement.

We expect gold loan AUM to grow around 10% annually and we expect that to grow because the coming quarters are usually better for gold loans. More importantly, we have other secured portfolios. We are growing those portfolios along with our gold loan portfolio like secured MSME, commercial vehicles etc. because we have a very large customer base both in Manappuram and the subsidiaries. In these secured segments like commercial vehicles as well as secured MSME, our penetration compared to our potential has come to only one-fifth. We have that opportunity along with gold. In gold, we expect that in the coming quarters, we will have targeted annual growth of around 10%.
