Wendell Pierce is set to star in James Gunn's «Superman». According to Variety, the veteran actor will play Perry White, editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet newspaper that employs Clark Kent/Superman (David Corenswet), Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and Jimmy Olsen (Skyler Gisondo). Amit Shah on Saturday launched the National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC) and asked the umbrella body to set up one urban cooperative bank in each town. He also said urban cooperative banks should upgrade themselves to provide ATM facility, credit/debit cards, clearing system, maintain SLR (statutory liquidity ratio) limit and refinancing. NUCFDC has received the RBI approval to function as a non-banking finance company and a self-regulatory organisation for the urban cooperative banking sector. After launching NUCFDC, Shah said, «After 20 years, NUCFDC has been established. This is the need of the hour. I am happy the RBI has given approval for this.»

Norway-based Yara has roped in ACME Cleantech for supply of 1 lakh tonne of green ammonia annually from the homegrown entity's plant in Oman. The binding agreement has been signed through GHC SAOC, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Acme Cleantech, ACME Group said in a statement on Friday. «Yara, a leading Norwegian company and GHC SAOC today (Friday) signed a firm and binding agreement for supply of ammonia with reduced Co2 emissions on a long-term basis,» it said. The long-term offtake agreement covers the supply of 1,00,000 tonne of renewable ammonia per annum by Acme from phase-1 of its Oman project with an expected start date in 2027, the company said.
