Vande Bharat trains in the coming years, railways minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said at the Global Business Summit on Saturday. «The challenge was to develop it (Vande Bharat) in our country by our own engineers and the challenge has been taken very well. Tripura (NLFT), who fled from their camp in Bangladesh have surrendered to security officials in Tripura. On Friday they deposited arms and ammunition including two Chinese rifles. A senior police official who does not want to be named ET, “Six NLFT extremists surrendered to Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence, Krishnendu Chakravertty in Agartala and deposited some arms and ammunition. The militants deposited two Chinese rifles, one country made sten gun, six live rounds 70 mm ammunition, two Chinese grenades and many other ammunition".

Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) spokesperson Musarrat Qadeem, quoting the initial report on the election, in a press conference said: «The failure to display copies of Form 45, as required, in 29 per cent of polling stations was a notable oversight.»

Imran Khan's party plan to form a government, a senior aide to the jailed politician said on Saturday, calling on supporters to peacefully protest if final election results were not released. The nuclear-armed South Asian nation voted on Thursday in a general election, as the country struggles to recover from an economic crisis and battles militant violence in a deeply polarised political environment.
