Employee, freelancers, or business owners who have clients abroad are going to benefit the most from this visa. Those who travel to Sri Lanka on Digital Nomad visa will not be allowed to work in the country or engage in economic activities of the country. The launching of the Digital Nomad Visa was proposed by Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles, aiming to attract global talent.
