National Coffee Day by extending offers for free and discounted coffee deals! Coffee shops, both big and small, mark this day on their calendars each year, and they are known to offer free coffee and various enticing deals. In a unique twist, Peet’s is introducing a «Disloyalty Program» aimed at encouraging customers of its competitors to make the switch. According to the National Coffee Association (NCA), a whopping 67 per cent of Americans enjoy a daily cup of coffee. This places coffee at the top of the list, ahead of all other beverages, even water. Estimates from the US Department of Agriculture reveal that the United States is the largest importer of coffee globally. Furthermore, the agency anticipates that the US will continue to be responsible for importing 20 per cent of the world's coffee volume through the year 2024.

Cloud services: Trai rejects DoT's view on MeitY's jurisdiction
telecom department’s view that cloud services come within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) as well as the latter’s suggestion that any light-touch regulation would stifle growth of India’s cloud ecosystem. The regulatory authority further reiterated it had the powers to make recommendations on cloud services. In its response to a Department of Telecommunications (DoT) back-reference, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has stuck to its earlier position that cloud infrastructure/services can’t be separated from telecom infrastructure/services from a regulatory perspective, and that in an age of convergence, regulatory interventions must happen as and when required in the case of cloud services to protect customer interests. Back in September 2020, Trai had recommended a light-touch regulatory framework for cloud services via setting up of an industry body through a three-step process.

If planned better, “Adopt a Heritage 2.0" can leverage these funds to create thriving tourist ecosystems across India, and those ecosystems are sorely needed.

'They can speak for themselves': US on India's response on Canada's allegations
State Department spokesperson Mathew Miller said that India can speak for itself regarding the Canadian allegations related to Khalistterrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's killing and the ongoing investigations. He mentioned that Washington has urged New Delhi to collaborate with the Canadian investigation. During the press briefing, State Department spokesperson Mathew Miller was asked whether the issue of Canadian allegations will be raised during External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's meeting with his US counterpart Antony Blinken. «One of the practices I'm going to continue to try to adhere to, is to not speak publicly about what, Secretary Blinken or other representatives of this department will say in their meetings before the Secretary has a chance to say it directly to those counterparts,» Miller said. He added, «We have consistently engaged with the Indian Government on this question and have urged them to cooperate. And that engagement and the urge for them to cooperate will continue». On being further asked about India's response to the US' call for cooperation in the investigation, Miller refused to comment on what is said in private diplomatic conversations. «They can speak for themselves.
