Playing vinyls: A unique experience
tactile pleasure of selecting an album. Each record sleeve, often adorned with eye-grabbing artwork, tells its own story and sets the stage for the auditory journey ahead. Once the record is placed — gingerly — on the turntable, the gentle crackle as the needle touches down like a plane on a tarmac is a prelude to the rich, warm sound that follows. Unlike the sterile perfection of digital music, vinyl offers a depth and texture that feels more organic and alive. The music breathes, with every pop and hiss adding character to the listening experience.

Trump is still in danger, according to experts following the second assassination attempt
Over the course of about two months, there have been two known attempts on the life of the former president Donald Trump, and experts told Fox News Digital that he may still be at risk of more. This is not the final effort that will be made. They will not stop pursuing him, said Gene Petrino, a 26-year veteran of Florida's Plantation Police Department and an authority on active shooter situations, in a Fox News Digital interview on Tuesday. Other people are going to see it that way, and the only responsible thing to do is now increase even more his security footprint. Suspect Ryan Routh allegedly pointed a rifle towards the 45th president on Sunday just outside the club's perimeter, but Trump was safely escorted from the green at his West Palm Beach, Florida, golf club. Routh ran away from the scene but was caught on I-95 shortly after. Also Read :When is the next Federal Reserve meeting? Will rates be slashed further, here's all you need to know

Changed oil market may help India extract better deals from suppliers
oil market has changed in a year and will influence the way India negotiates its annual crude purchase deals for next year as the country is witnessing fuel consumption growth while global demand is forecast to be weakening, a petroleum ministry official said. “When we sit down with them (suppliers) in December or January, for both sides the negotiating positions would be very different from what they were last year,” said the official, who didn't want to be named. “The market of December 2024 is not the market of December 2023.” “What has changed in the market is that whether it’s IEA or OPEC, they are bringing down their estimates for world demand,” he said, adding that India was in a different position as it is experiencing a demand increase.

EU moves to compel Apple to open up operating system to rival tech
European Union said Thursday it will outline steps to compel Apple to open up its iPhone and iPad operating systems to competing technologies under the bloc's tough new digital rulebook, which threatens hefty fines for breaches. The EU's executive branch, the European Commission, said it has opened two «specification proceedings» that will spell out what Apple needs to do under the 27-nation bloc's Digital Markets Act. The DMA is designed to prevent Big Tech «gatekeepers» from dominating digital markets, including by breaking up closed tech ecosystems. It requires tech companies to make their systems operate with rivals, allowing consumers to switch more easily between platforms.

pro-incumbency" sentiment in Haryana with voters realising the BJP has transformed their lives over the last 10 years, says senior leader Kiran Choudhry who switched to the saffron party following a three decade association with the Congress in June this year. Choudhry is also confident her daughter Shruti Choudhry, a former MP who moved to the BJP with her, will win the «battle of the cousins» from the family stronghold Tosham against Congress' Anirudh Chaudhry in the October 5 elections for the 90-member Haryana assembly. Kiran Choudhry, 69, is the daughter-in-law of former Haryana chief minister Bansi Lal and wife of former state minister, the late Surender Singh. While Kiran Choudhry was nominated as party candidate for the Rajya Sabha bypolls from Haryana which she won unopposed, her daughter was given a ticket from Tosham.
