FPIs offload ₹9,784 crore in Indian equities, extend selling streak into October; Will they miss a potential rally?
₹9,784 crore worth of Indian equities and offloaded a total of ₹5,867 crore as of October 13, taking into account debt, hybrid, debt-VRR, and equities, according to National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL ) data. The ₹9,784 crore-figure also includes bulk deals and investment in primary market. According to NSDL data, FPIs sold equity for ₹13,652 crore through the stock exchanges till Friday.

‘Ikea entering next India growth phase’
NEW DELHI : Ingka Group, the owner and operator of Ikea stores, wants to invest in Indian startups and the country’s energy sector via its investment arm, said Juvencio Maeztu, deputy chief executive officer of Ingka Group. After investing ₹10,500 crore in India’s retail market over the past decade, the company is now entering its next phase of expansion in the country, said Maeztu, who is also its board member and chief financial officer . Sept goods exports dip 2.6%, growth seen in H2
exports fell 2.6% year on year to $34.5 billion in September even as the government revised upwards the export growth in August to 3.88% from a 6.8% contraction reported earlier.
