Bank Group, has committed USD 400 million (about Rs 3,300 crore) to help expand access to finance for customers opting to buy EVs and energy efficient consumer goods as well as support women-owned microenterprises. This USD 400 million support is part of the USD 1 billion fundraising exercise by Bajaj Finance Ltd (BFL). The funding aims to increase competitiveness in the climate finance market, support the country's climate goals, and promote financial inclusion, a joint statement said on Wednesday.

Air India has deployed additional resources, including help desk kiosks, at touch points and airports to ensure a smooth experience for Vistara passengers post its merger with the airline next week, an official said on Wednesday. Full-service carriers — Air India and Vistara, a joint venture between Tatas and Singapore Airlines — set to be merged on November 11. Post-merger, the routes and schedule operated by Vistara and the Vistara in-flight experience will remain the same.

Rahul Jain: It would be very difficult for us to call at this point because there is very limited understanding in terms of what this company is actually going to do to change the matrix versus what the largest company is doing. At this point, it is clear that they are behind the curve in terms of improving the profitability of the business, which is an important element for valuation. And competition in this space is actually heating up. So, there is not much to talk about, not much debate on that element and thus, in that absence, it becomes a difficult call to make.
