Like a true blockbuster, Euro 2024 has everything – action, emotion, comedy, drama, gastronomy, and goals
Let’s start with World Peace. For long, its proponents have looked down upon the plebeian influences of football. There is an honest intent to change that. This Euro continues with the previous one’s emotion of loving thy enemy. Germany's Antonio Rudiger played a good host by scoring one for the opponents.

Artificial Intelligent slaves
desire to make artificial intelligence, robots, mechanical tools and newer technology comes from the same source that made humans invent slavery. Machines are more efficient than slaves though. Machines do not talk back, fight back or have dreams. Slavery began not with the agricultural revolution, but even before when even hunters and foragers realised that they could outsource hard work. People could be blinded, rendered dependent, and thus forced to spend the rest of their lives doing repetitive chores like cleaning gathered fruit and nuts while the masters enjoyed the shade of trees. The word robot is traced to the Slavic word for forced labourers i.e., slaves. Slaves have existed in all parts of the world. Names have been different. Techniques to enslave been different. Some used threats of violence. Some told stories — God told you to follow the occupation of your father, nothing else, was the story told in Hindu scriptures. The gods created slavery for their own pleasure, said Mesopotamian mythology. Women have to serve women, said Biblical myths.

States will legally fight to scrap NEET, says Karnataka Medical Education minister, demands CBI probe
NEET, days after deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar demanded the states be allowed to conduct their own entrance exams. He demanded a CBI enquiry into the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-2024 in the wake of the exam’s on-going grace marks controversy, terming it a scam of the Modi-government. “The central government’s reluctance to order a probe despite the exposure of this massive scam raises doubts in the minds of the people. All the state governments have demanded a CBI probe. We don’t know if the Centre is trying to shield the culprits. The Modi government is playing with the future of 24 lakh students across the country,” Patil said. The state, however, could not outrightly reject the NEET, he added, as the law was enacted by the Central government and backed by a Supreme Court order. “The Tamil Nadu government has expressed its position, we need to fight legally. The Apex Court has told the Centre to accept if it has bungled. It’s sad that the Centre is not taking this seriously even as students and parents continue their protests across the country,” he said.

Embrace democratic decision-making in family business succession, says Jatin Popat of WillJini Succession Services
Many times certain family members (parents, kids or grandkids) need more support than others (due to personal, mental or physical challenges). It is important to acknowledge this and make a plan that would be inclusive, whilst being just and fair to others. If one family member needs more financial support than the other, this feeling has to be propagated by not just words on paper (via will), but also by emotions and support (when alive).
