Tesla plans to produce a six-seat variant of its Model Y car in China from late 2025, two people with direct knowledge of the matter said, as the U.S. automaker strives to increase the appeal of its best-selling yet aging electric vehicle (EV). Tesla has asked suppliers to prepare accordingly for a double-digit increase of Model Y output at its Shanghai factory, said one of the people, who declined to be named as the plan is not public. coal production rose by 6.48 per cent to 384.08 million tonne (MT) in the first five months of the ongoing fiscal. The production was 360.71 MT in April-August FY24. The figures for the period under review are provisional. The production of CIL, which accounts for over 80 per cent of the domestic coal output, rose to 290.39 MT during April-August FY25, marking a growth of 3.17 per cent year-on-year, the coal ministry said in a statement.

The October official selling price (OSP) for flagship Arab Light crude is expected to fall between 50 and 70 cents a barrel, three of five refining sources said in a Reuters survey, to track a similar trend for Dubai price spreads last month. Such a price cut would also reflect weak refining margins especially in China where sluggish manufacturing and property sectors are squeezing fuel demand, the sources said.

Burman family of Dabur and promoters of Jubilant Group, the Bhartias, are separately closing in on a 40% stake in Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) for Rs 10,800-12,000 crore ($1.3-1.4 billion), said executives aware of the development. This values Coca-Cola India’s wholly owned bottling subsidiary at Rs 27,000-30,000 crore ($3.21-3.61 billion). The two sides submitted bids over the weekend, said the people cited.
