stage gossips prevention bail HC seeks ED stand on Arun Ramchandran Pillai's bail plea
Pillai, the alleged frontman of Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader Kavitha Kalvakuntla, has submitted that he is neither the frontman nor the representative of Kavitha of any liquor cartel allegedly involved in the Delhi liquor excise scandal. According to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Pillai, a Hyderabad-based businessman and co-accused in the Delhi government's now scrapped excise policy case is Kalvakuntla's «benami» or frontman. In his bail plea filed earlier this month before the Delhi High Court, Pillai has submitted that the entire case made out against him by the ED is solely based on statements of witnesses and co-accused recorded under Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Statements recorded under the said section are admissible in a court of law. Advocate Nitesh Rana, appearing on behalf of Pillai, argued before the high court that the admissibility of such statements is to be examined at the stage of trial.

Target Ripple Action Puzzle Parke gossips open View: Will RBI squeeze banks with an open market operation?
RBI. Its ripples have not dampened the festive spirit as the world beyond the money market is oblivious to the cryptic war of words. For most, little has changed: the businessman is not charged a higher rate on loans, the homebuyer is paying the same EMI, and stock traders are fine with governor Shaktikanta Das leaving interest rates untouched. However, the rift has left bankers dealing in the more obscure bond market baffled and angry. The dense drama has laid open RBI’s dilemma and the confusion of the bond brigade. The protagonists are an affable governor who wants to tame inflation without hiking interest rates, particularly amid festivities, his articulate, pony-tailed deputy, Michael Patra, who has to justify RBI’s actions, words, and silence, and bankers who lend and borrow to manage liquidity while taking cues from the market, rivals and RBI to price loans and deposits. At the heart of the debate is how banks handle their daily surplus or deficit liquidity vis-à-vis how RBI wants them to do it. While RBI wants banks to manage liquidity without undermining the monetary policy framework, they prefer doing what is convenient. There is no middle ground with bankers arguing that the market has transformed, and RBI must adjust to the new realities. What has changed?

Hallmark film Actor show performer Pregnancy gossips American Horror Story: Delicate Part 2: Here’s what you may want to know
American Horror Story: Delicate" is on the horizon, but the exact premiere date remains unknown. This season brings a fresh tale to the long-standing FX anthology series, featuring Emma Roberts as Anna Victoria Alcott, a rising actor, and her husband, Dexter (Matt Czuchry), striving to expand their family. However, Anna's pregnancy takes a mysterious turn as she experiences unsettling visions of an intruder, hinting at hidden complexities. The show boasts a strong ensemble cast, with Kim Kardashian delivering a notable performance as Anna's publicist, while maintaining the hallmark craziness of an AHS season. The split in the season is due to real-world circumstances. Filming commenced in May, but the Writers Guild of America strike disrupted production. Although the strike concluded, it was temporarily suspended in July when the Screen Actors Guild went on strike. As a result, the show is in a state of uncertainty, pending resolution of the SAG strike, which, at present, is ongoing. Assuming that the season's script was finalized before filming, the show's return hinges on the duration of the SAG strike. If it concludes by the end of October, filming can promptly resume. However, if the strike persists through the year's end, the delay will be significantly prolonged. As of now, Harper’s Bazaar reports that "American Horror Story: Delicate Part 2" will see the light of day in 2024. However, no information is available regarding whether the release will be early in the year or closer to spring. In the meantime, Part 1 will conclude on October 18, leaving fans with an extended wait for the thrilling culmination of this season.
