Ayurvedic wellness centres, homeopathy clinics and Unani hospitals across the country may soon have integrated accreditation standards, as the government pushes to widen the reach and popularity of alternative medicine. The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare (NABH) has requested stakeholders’ views on common accreditation standards it plans to issue by June, chief executive Atul Mohan Kochhar said. The decision was taken to ensure ease of business for the wellness centres, he added.

OpenAI has changed the governance structure of its venture capital fund that backs AI startups, so its high profile chief executive Sam Altman no longer owns or controls the fund, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The change, documented in the March 29 filing, came after Altman's ownership of the OpenAI Startup Fund raised eyebrows for its unusual structure--while being marketed similar to a corporate venture arm, the fund was raised by Altman from outside limited partners and he made investment decisions. OpenAI has said Altman does not have financial interest in the fund despite the ownership.

These are companies that have high price-to-earnings (PE) ratios, but have built a ‘halo effect’, which basically states that irrespective of their valuations, these stocks will continue to give high returns. Over the past one year, the Asian Paints share has moved up by only 2%, against 30% rise in the Nifty. Even on a fiveyear basis, Asian Paints has lagged the Nifty. While the Nifty 50 rose 92%, Asian Paints rose 90%. The company had a PE ratio of 98x in 2021-22, which has now come down to almost 50x.
