Wayfair Targets Remote Work Amidst Major Layoffs
Quiver Quantitative — In a significant shift in its remote work policy, Wayfair (NYSE:W), a leading online furniture retailer, has recently prioritized in-office employees over remote workers in its latest round of layoffs. During a comprehensive all-hands meeting, Wayfair executives addressed the company's 13% workforce reduction, emphasizing the need for expedited decision-making and enhanced teamwork.
