Special Judge Niyay Bindu of the Rouse Avenue Court highlighted the lack of clear evidence linking Kejriwal to the crime and questioned the ED’s investigative methods. The court noted the ED’s failure to demonstrate how the alleged proceeds of crime were used in the 2022 Goa assembly elections by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The judge pointed out that only Rs 40 crore of the alleged Rs 100 crore had been traced, with no timeline provided for locating the remaining amount. «ED has failed to clarify as to how much time is required for tracing out the complete money trail,» Judge Bindu remarked, emphasising that Kejriwal's prolonged detention without substantial evidence was unacceptable.

Supreme Court has stayed further proceedings in an FIR filed against top brass, including IREO Group Managing Director Lalit Goyal and Oberoi Realty Chairman and Managing Director Vikas Oberoi, under various sections of cheating, criminal breach of trust and forgery. While seeking response from the Haryana police and others, a vacation Bench comprising Justices Sanjay Kumar and Justice Augustine George Masih said: “...we find that the second complaint (against IREO and Oberoi officials) was made without disclosing the fact that the first complaint had been made, albeit in relation to the letter dated September 9, 2022 supposedly addressed by the complainant (one Chandan Singh) itself which was attacked as a forgery. Kiccha Sudeep has finally opened up on the arrest of his colleague Darshan. Darshan is currently in police custody along with his rumoured girlfriend Pavithra Gowda and 10 other men, for murdering Renuka Swamy, a 33-year old-youth. In an interview with India Today, the ‘Eega’ star said that justice has to be done for the victim’s wife and unborn child. «We are only aware of what the media is showing to us because we are not going to the police station to get the information. It looks like the media and the police are working hard to uncover the truth. There’s no doubt about that… that family deserves justice. That girl deserves justice. Renukaswamy, who died on the streets, deserves justice. The unborn child deserves justice. Above all, everyone should have faith in justice, and justice should prevail in this case,» he told India Today. While he refused to take Darshan’s name directly, the ‘Huccha’ actor said that the incident has tainted the whole Sandalwood industry and it badly needs an image makeover. «Everyone’s heart goes out to that family. The atmosphere doesn’t feel right. The film industry should get justice. All the blame seems to be placed on the film industry. The industry needs a clean chit. There are many artists involved. Cinema is not just one or two people. The film industry will be relieved if the culprit is punished,» he said.
