‘It’s a Small World’ sees big fracas as streaker strips down at Disneyland
Disneyland‘s “It’s a Small World” attraction was the site of a big disturbance over the weekend when a man decided to strip down mid-ride and crawl around the exhibit, to the shock of his fellow passengers.Police in Anaheim, Calif., responded to a call to the theme park early Sunday afternoon after the unidentified 26-year-old man exited his boat, took off his shirt, shoes and pants and began climbing over and around the ride’s animatronic characters.Video captured of the incident and posted to Instagram by user @magic.with.maegra shows other visitors and staff encouraging the man to rejoin the ride as a passenger.“Stop, stop! I need you to stop,” a staff member can be heard yelling.“Please just stop, you’re going to get hurt.”A post shared by Maegan (@magic.with.maegra)A passenger cries out, “Oh God, he’s going to break all the stuff.”“They should stop the music,” another visitor suggests. And while the video posted to Instagram is fairly tame as he remains in his underwear, other very NSFW video shows the man wading through the outdoor part of the attraction fully naked.Jonathan McClintock, a spokesman for the Anaheim Police Department, said the man was arrested shortly after for indecent exposure and for being under the influence of a controlled substance.Another video, shared to Instagram by user @iheartdisneyland, shows the man’s clothes and shoes in a pile on the floor inside the ride.A post shared by •Niloufar: Disney mama and wifey (@iheartdisneyland)“When you get stuck on small world, weird things happen lol he just pushed the boat behind us..

Costs
Beware the prolonged hidden costs that terror attacks saddle us with
insurance premiums, lowering of investor confidence in a country seen to be dangerous, and the psychological impact of all-pervasive surveillance and security measures, apart from its corrosive effect on democracy, are all incalculably costly in the long run. On top of this is the loss of velocity of virtually all movement, be it of goods, people or money, congealing the flow of the global economy. Aircraft have lower utilization because of security delays, cash registers in malls slow, and there is a ‘security surcharge’ that we pay.

Personal finance and a lesson from Harry Houdini
Dear reader, have you ever heard of someone called Erich Weisz? Probably not. To be honest, even I had never heard of him before I started writing this piece. But you have probably heard of Harry Houdini, who lived through the late nineteenth and the early part of the twentieth century. In fact, after becoming a professional magician Weisz started calling himself Houdini. Of course, Houdini was much more than just a magician. As his Wikipedia entry points out, he was an “escape artist, illusionist, and stunt performer, noted for his escape acts".

Ravi Shastri says India is a serious challenger for 2024 T20 World Cup title
Ravi Shastri on Monday backed India as a «serious challenger» in next year's T20 World Cup but said what matters for a dominant side is to come out winners in the last two knock-out games of any big event. It has been more than a week since Australia trumped India, in what turned out to be a one-sided final in Ahmedabad, with the country's cricket fraternity still reeling with the outcome, given that the hosts had a 10-match unbeaten run into the title clash. «Nothing comes easy — even the great man Sachin Tendulkar had to wait (for) six World Cups to win one.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor Paul Rudd reveals 'horrible' 'Ant Man' diet
While participating in the Off Menu podcast, as a guest said that his diet for The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was so intense that he would prefer to have sparkling water as a treat. He made the comment when hosts Ed Gamble and James Acaster asked the actor about his dream menu and what type of water he preferred. “When I was having to train for the Ant-Man movie, and I was on a very restrictive diet, my reward was sparkling water. That’s how horrible that diet was. I was like, ‘Alright, I’m gonna have some sparkling water now, I’ve earned it,” she said laughing. When Acaster asked Rudd whether the sparkling water was like a treat? Rudd responded, “Yeah, it was great. It wasn’t flavored, I wasn’t gonna go crazy.” The actor said that he strictly stuck to his diet and training for all his Marvel movies. He said that once you follow then «it's not too hard». He added that he didn’t mind having “really boring food, every time, over and over again", especially since he would wake up with “tons of energy". Besides Rudd, many other actors such as Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Allen White, Robert Pattinson and Channing Tatum have opened up about undergoing intense training and diet for their roles. When the Clueless actor was asked if other Marvel stars would compare notes on their training, he said, “I worked out harder than anyone, I would eat better than everyone, and I looked worse than all of them,” Rudd quipped. “I had to work out all the time, eat perfectly, just to look kind of bad. Not even great.”
