This PMS is betting on India reaching 16% of world GDP by 2047
₹3,600 crore, is setting his sights high with plans to launch a new venture—the Bharat Amritkal Fund, a category III Alternative Investment Fund, requiring a minimum investment of ₹5 crore. With this fund, Khemani, a Portfolio Management Service (PMS) manager, aims to capitalize on India's economic trajectory, betting on sectors expected to undergo substantial growth, including manufacturing, banking, infrastructure, and consumption, as the country targets a $29 trillion GDP by 2047, accounting for an estimated 16% of global GDP. This strategy also reflects Khemani's confidence in an outright victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)—a thesis that now looks a little shaky.

Will NBFCs drive India's next growth wave? Manish Singh answers
«But if you are an investor, then you have to take a three- to five-year view. What I like is that if Prime Minister Modi wins then that is just a validation of the political stability, which is a precursor to economic growth,» says Manish Singh, Market Expert. Do you think the fundamentals are strong enough to kind of take these markets further ahead, what is your opinion? I do agree with Mr Subramanyam that it depends upon what sort of investor you are. And with any trade, the key thing is your investment horizon and that pretty much dictates your risk reward that you are going to look at. If you are of trader mentality, you believe that there is going to be a volatile outcome either way, then you benefit from it, so that is one trade one can think of. I do not recommend that because I am a more medium-term investor. But again, if you are a trader, then you can put those trades and benefit from that.

Commodities as a sector will get re-rated globally: Sandeep Tandon
«We have been very bullish for railway for actually right from September 2020 when we have a very sizeable exposure in some of the companies, we are a very meaningful stakeholder in most of the government companies, actually we are the largest shareholder in some of the government companies itself, so that level of exposure we already have, maybe closer to this event we have partially pruned down in some of the expensive names particularly in defence space,» says Sandeep Tandon, CIO, Quant Mutual Fund. We are pinching ourselves. We are telling us that this is unreal, but it is real. The markets are up 4%, it is the biggest gap up for Indian markets in its life. So, magical things are happening today. Now as a money manager, what changes in the way you have invested in the past and the way you will invest in future post-election certainty and uncertainty going away? First of all, now it is endorsements of the policies which was followed by the previous government, so which clearly means that infra as a theme, manufacturing as a theme, PSU as a theme will continue.
