Maratha quota stir has dragged on to the twelfth day after Maratha leader Manoj Jarange Patil rejected the new proposed Government Resolution (GR) on the Maratha quota. On Saturday Shiv Sena leader Arjun Khotkar, who is mediating on behalf of the Maharashtra government, met Patil sitting on a fast at the Antarvali village in Jalna district with a sealed envelope. The sealed envelope contained the new proposed GR on the Maratha reservations meant to placate the Maratha leader who has been on an indefinite fast since August 29. The Maratha leader however 'rejected' the new proposed GR and said that his fast would continue.
