Government to quick commerce players: throw more light on dark store ownership structures
dark stores, the mini warehouses that are crucial for the foreign-funded platforms to deliver in 15-30 minutes, people aware of the matter said. India’s foreign direct investment rules don’t allow foreign-funded online marketplaces to own inventory or control sellers on their platforms. Because of these restrictions, the dark stores are not owned by the quick-commerce platforms themselves, but by separate entities. However, there are some grey areas in their structures. How being aware of good habits can help you thrive
good habits — because good habits are not so deep-rooted as bad habits. Good habits need much sacrifice on your part, so, very few people try to cultivate good habits. And even those who try to cultivate good habits try very few good habits; just underneath, there are many bad habits. First, try neutral, then good, then move by and by to bad habits. And, finally, remember that each habit has to be made aware. Once you have become aware of your whole habitual pattern, that habitual pattern is your mind. Any day the shift will happen. Suddenly, you will be in no-mind — when all the habits of your life have become aware… Any day, when that situation, that point, comes — at one hundred degrees — suddenly, a shift will happen....

Moulding a ‘modak’ over memories of Ganesha
Subscribe to enjoy similar stories. When I asked my mother about her memories of modak, she narrated a story so vivid that I felt like I was there—in a chawl in the central Mumbai neighbourhood of Dadar, watching the ladies of her family expertly turning out thin dumplings stuffed with jaggery and coconut, gossiping and arguing as they did. These dramas seemed appropriate because Lord Ganesha, the pot-bellied, elephant-headed god dear to millions, was himself born amidst celestial theatrics.

'Small bizmen don't deserve humiliation': Rahul attacks Modi govt over Annapoorna eatery owner's 'apology' to Sitharaman
Annapoorna restaurant owner who allegedly apologised to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman following his GST rant, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP government by saying that request of small business owner is met with arrogance and outright disrespect. «When the owner of a small business, like Annapoorna restaurant in Coimbatore, asks our public servants for a simplified GST regime, his request is met with arrogance and outright disrespect. Yet, when a billionaire friend seeks to bend the rules, change the laws, or acquire national assets, Modi Ji rolls out the red carpet. Our small business owners have already endured the blows of demonetisation, an inaccessible banking system, tax extortion and a disastrous GST,» said Rahul Gandhi. Video:

Protesting doctors reject Mamata's invite for talks to resolve impasse over RG Kar hospital issue
Mamata Banerjee's invitation for talks at the state secretariat to resolve the impasse over the RG Kar hospital issue. «Your small delegation (maximum 10 persons) may visit 'Nabanna' now to meet government representatives,» the email sent by the state's Health Secretary N S Nigam to the protesting medics on Tuesday evening had stated. «The language of the communication is not only disrespectful to us doctors, it's downright insensitive. We find no reason to reply to this mail,» Dr Debasish Halder, a leader of the protesting doctors who organised a sit-in before the state health department headquarters at 'Swasthya Bhavan' in Salt Lake, said. The doctors conveyed that although «doors remain open» for talks with the state's highest authorities, they would continue with their agitation till their demands are met.
