IRCTC: IRCTC's first-quarter profit stood at ₹232.22 crore with a decline of 5% on a year-on-year(YoY) basis. Doreen Mantle, renowned for her captivating roles in iconic shows, such as One Foot In The Grave, has passed away at the age of 97. Her agent confirmed that she peacefully departed in the comfort of her home. Mantle gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Jean Warboys, the endearingly vexing friend of Victor Meldrew's wife, in the beloved BBC comedy series. Her talent graced other prominent productions as well, including appearances in the BBC detective series Father Brown, the medical drama Doctors, and a notable role as Joy Fishwick in ITV's Coronation Street. Her versatile career encompassed an array of credits, with standout performances in My Family, Dirk Gently, Jam And Jerusalem, Doc Martin, Jonathan Creek and Yentl. In a testament to her skill, Mantle earned an esteemed Olivier Award in 1979 for her compelling contribution to Death Of A Salesman at the National Theatre. Additionally, Mantle's theatrical achievements extended to her one-woman show, My Truth and Reconciliation, and notable appearances in plays, such as 84 Charing Cross Road and Billy Liar. Her legacy lives on through her two sons, four grandchildren, and a cherished brother.
