Godrej Agrovet (GAVL) on Saturday said it will set up an Oil Palm Processing mill with an initial capacity of 10 tph (tonnes per hour) in Dhalai district in Tripura. The company's Oil Palm Plantation business (OPP) will be setting up the Oil Palm Processing mill. The mill is expected to be up and running by 2026, with an initial capacity of 10 tph, the company spokesperson told PTI. The company currently operates a nursery in Dhalai district with a capacity of 3 lakhs saplings per year and plans to increase it to 5 lakhs saplings per year, the company said in a statement.

Parliament by a Congress-led UPA government minister to emphasise that no concept of «national disaster» exists under the rules of the central government. The clarification came amid a demand, including from Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, that the landslide tragedy in Kerala's Wayanad be declared a national disaster. High Court has directed the capital markets regulator to disclose the letter that exempted ICICI Securities from the reverse book-building process required for delisting. In a ruling on Wednesday, the court directed the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to provide the petitioner-ICICI Securities shareholder Aruna Vinod Modi-with a copy of the exemption letter, subject to a non-disclosure undertaking.
