10-weeks to U.S. presidential polls; Harris has momentum post DNC, Trump pacing up too
Kamala Harris has gained momentum after the DNC, while Trump is actively campaigning in key swing states. Ten weeks remain until November 5th, the election day. Vice President Harris is riding high on the energy and enthusiasm from last week's Democratic National Convention, the former president Trump is working at breakneck speed to slow her progress. This week, Trump will be running for office in three of the seven battleground states from coast to coast that will probably decide the outcome of the 2024 presidential election: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. JD Vance of Ohio, his running mate, visits all three of the so-called ‘Blue Wall’ states. As part of his counterprogramming, Trump made stops in five important swing states during the Democratic convention last week in Chicago, and Vance also made rounds of the campaign trail. This week, the vice president and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, begin a two-day bus tour in Georgia, a vital battleground in the Southeast. Until Election Day, the campaign trail is expected to remain gridlocked until further notice. Also Read: Steve Harvey biopic: Who will play the character of the comedian? All about it

US Elections: Kamala Harris, Tim Walz will sit down for first major television interview of their presidential campaign
Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will sit down Thursday for their first major television interview of their presidential campaign as the duo travels in southeast Georgia on a bus tour. The interview with CNN's Dana Bash will give Harris a chance to quell criticism that she has eschewed uncontrolled environments, while also giving her a fresh platform to define her campaign and test her political mettle ahead of an upcoming debate with former President Donald Trump set for September 10. But it also carries risk as her team tries to build on momentum from the ticket shakeup following Joe Biden's exit and last week's Democratic National Convention. Joint interviews during an election year are a fixture in politics; Biden and Harris, Trump and Mike Pence, Barack Obama and Biden — all did them at a similar point in the race. The difference is those other candidates had all done solo interviews, too. Harris hasn't yet done an in-depth interview since she became her party's standard bearer five weeks ago, though she did sit for several while she was still Biden's running mate.

Trump faltering in his backyard? Harris may be winning North Carolina

Kamala Harris trailing Joe Biden, Bill Clinton at this point in campaigns, says strategists
Joe Biden led Donald Trump by 7.1 percent on this day in 2020 according to the Real Clear Politics average. The election came down to a small number of votes in a small number of states, and at this point in 2016, Hillary Clinton was ahead by 6.3 per cent. As of right now, Harris leads Trump by 1.5 per cent in the Real Clear Politics average and 3.5 per cent in the FiveThirtyEight.com average. Thus, while she leads in both averages, she is far behind in terms of the numbers that both Biden and Clinton had. Biden prevailed by 42,000 votes in three states, while Clinton was defeated. Karl Rove pointed out that while these were national averages, swing state polling averages might be more important. Is Trump fit to run? Personal attacks following the rise of Harris has supporters worried
Donald Trump is raising more questions with every disorganized, rambling speech he makes while running for office. The question that ultimately brought Joe Biden to his downfall is now being posed by some of Donald Trump's supporters: is the former president even qualified to hold office? While many of Trump's supporters and detractors may not find his meandering speech and ludicrous claims, laced with vitriol and hatred, surprising into the race against Kamala Harris just a month ago seems to have driven the former president to new heights. Trump's ire has only increased as his lead in the polls over Biden vanished and Harris established a distinct lead. It seems that Trump is even more enraged by the vice president's strategy of making fun of him rather than engaging in debate. US Polls: As Trump struggles against Harris, his allies and aides try to energize him
US Presidential Elections 2024 is turning out to be a major political battle between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, even though the latter was in the race much longer the reigning VP was. Trump's aura in this current US elections campaign has been much more dominant and brutal than the Democrats, something that has been the reason of Biden pulling out of the poll race midway.

No positive boost from DNC, can Harris beat Trump in November? Here's what latest polls say
Kamala Harris's closing remarks during the Democratic National Convention last night had little effect on attendees' intentions to vote. But there might be a change in the presidential contest now that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is apparently withdrawing later today. According to FiveThirtyEight's most recent average of national polls, Harris leads Trump by 3.5 points. National polls have shown Harris to be slightly ahead of Trump on average, but the race is still close with swing states. According to the most recent national survey conducted by Outward Intelligence from August 18 to 22, Harris has not yet experienced any favorable boost following this week's DNC. Harris continues to lead Trump by +6 points in this poll, with 49.5 percent of the vote. But nothing has changed from the same poll conducted last week. According to the polls, both Trump and Harris would gain ground in a straight-up contest; however, Trump would narrow Harris's lead, with 48 percent to the vice president's 52 percent.
