Paramedics alerted health officials on Thursday that they had transported five people who said they had gotten sick after eating pizza at the restaurant, AP reported. Health officials said they have received dozens of reports of people who got sick from the pizza and are still taking reports. A full tally will be available in a final report, they said.

Allowing annual issuance of TDS certificates (Form 16A) instead of quarterly, aligning it with Form 16 for salaries, since Form 26AS is primarily used for credit and a flat tax rate for individuals earning over Rs 8 lakhs, specifically for those aged 60 to 80, with additional provisions for individuals aged 80 and above.

IndusInd Bank's shares for Rs 421 crore through an open market transaction. According to the bulk deal data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Paris-headquartered Societe Generale offloaded 39.30 lakh shares or 0.50 per cent stake in IndusInd Bank. The shares were disposed of at an average price of Rs 1,070.61 apiece, taking the transaction value to Rs 420.80 crore.

Railway Board has initiated from October 23 a 15-day-long safety drive to inspect interlocking points and crossings across all rail networks in the country. In a written communication, the board has asked all railway zones and divisions to undertake the drive with a special emphasis on critical analysis of cases of derailment at these intersections in the last three years among other aspects. The drive was initiated almost a fortnight after a collision between a passenger and a freight train in Tamil Nadu. The incident is being investigated as initial findings hinted at an act of sabotage of the interlocking system or a possible mechanical defect in it. According to the board's letter, the officials should check if the interlocking points require frequent attention, their behaviour under the wheels of a train and also ensure the adequate availability of their components among other things.
